Our Promise

We promise to meet you where you are — and guide you toward where you want to be.

At our practice, we take a different approach. Your story, goals, and comfort are at the center of everything we do. Our experienced team of therapists brings a diverse set of tools and specialized skills to ensure you receive the comprehensive care you deserve. We’ll work with you to create a personalized recovery and healing plan using techniques that are right for you.

We believe that everything is connected—because it is. Aches, pains, and persistent symptoms rarely exist in isolation. That’s why we evaluate the whole body, not just one area. Our motto is “It’s all connected,” and it guides every assessment, every treatment, and every conversation we have with you.

Where you want to be—and how you want to feel—is what truly matters. We’re here to help you resolve pain, rebuild strength, and regain the confidence to move forward, fully supported every step of the way.

Dr. Cristin Zaimes PT, DPT, Founder of Oceanside

Dr. Cristin Zaimes holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College, specializing in orthopedics and pelvic floor dysfunction for over 20 years. She opened Oceanside in 2011 to create an environment focused on healing and superior clinical care, breaking away from traditional healthcare constraints.

She has extensive training in pelvic floor, bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction for all people, with a commitment to serving those traditionally underserved by the medical system. Dr. Zaimes advocates for patients through community engagement and speaking events, focusing on menstrual health awareness, supporting new parents in postpartum recovery, and guiding women through menopause.

Cristin addresses the root cause of dysfunction while helping patients develop preventive skills. She believes each body tells a story shaped by lifelong patterns that affect mechanics and injury development. Her treatment methods include manual therapy, massage, and dry needling, with an emphasis on movement. She promotes a comprehensive approach to health, incorporating stress management and nutrition, while connecting patients with appropriate healthcare providers to support their healing journey.

Insurance and Self-Pay Options: A Hybrid Approach to Holistic Healthcare

We are in-network with several plans however insurance coverage varies widely and often limits care, especially with regards to pelvic health.

We know how to advocate for your care and our coordinators are ready to help you understand your coverage.

As health practitioners, we know there is much more to healing beyond a traditional, insurance-approved plan of care.

A Hybrid Approach to Holistic Healthcare looks like this:

  • Our highly trained clinicians draw from a unique blend of traditional physical therapy combined with a range of holistic wellness care, such as dry needling and visceral manipulation.
  • In collaboration with your therapist, you will customize your plan based on insurance-covered and self-pay services.
  • You may elect to self-pay for services not covered by insurance, and we offer special rates to make this accessible.

Our Modalities

We believe there is no one-size-fits-all prescription. Your plan of care is thoughtfully designed around your unique needs, goals, and preferences. We take a collaborative approach, working with you to choose from a range of treatment options, like tools in a toolbox, so we can find the right combination that supports your healing and long-term wellness.

Movement Pattern Analysis

One of our best skills is observation and the analysis of movement patterns and how they have contributed to your symptoms. We watch you breath, move, walk, run, exercise and can pick out areas of dysfunction. We understand that your neck pain is connected to your foot. Your past deliveries or surgeries do tell a story in your body. We then focus on optimizing these areas through various techniques. We can help you become aware of these dysfunctional patterns and change them!
