Meet the Team
Cristin Zaimes
PT, DPT, Owner
She/Her/Hers

Cristin Zaimes PT, DPT, holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College and has specialized in the field of orthopedics and pelvic floor dysfunction for over 15 years. She opened Oceanside in 2011, when her frustrations with the healthcare and medical system became overwhelming to her as a practitioner and she broke away to create an environment that supported healing and thrived on providing the best clinical care.
She has extensive advanced training in pelvic floor, bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction for all people. She believe in allowing all those against whom the traditional medical system has biases, to have access to care that supports, connects and empowers. Dr. Zaimes spends much of her time advocating for patients through community connections, workshops and speaking engagements. Her passions include advocating for proper menstrual health and the awareness of abnormalities in period and ovulatory health, supporting new mothers and parents and fighting cultural norms that impede the healing process after delivery, and providing knowledge, guidance and support to women transitioning toward and after menopause.
In the clinic, Cristin uses various methods of treatment to guide symptom resolution and help patients return to their best physical self. Multiple forms of manual treatment such as massage, myofascial release and dry needling can be incorporated into her sessions. Movement is the key! She is passionate about facilitating movement and a healthy lifestyle, including stress management, optimal nutrition and emotional health. She believes in a team approach to health and strives to connect patients with the right providers and resources to support their healing.
Cristin’s aim is to assess the origin of the dysfunction while helping patients develop skills to improve day to day patterns and prevent re-occurrence. She treats every person as a whole and believes that each body tells a story, one that begins early in life where certain patterns develop which continue through the many stages in life creating abnormal mechanics and resulting in injury.
Cristin and her family find balance and peace in nature when they can, skiing, hiking or surfing but can usually be found at various sporting events, cheering on the kids, Alexa and Jackson.
Andrea Mulder
PT, DPT, OCS
She/Her/Hers

Andrea Mulder, PT, DPT, brings nearly 30 years of experience in guiding individuals back to comfort, movement, and trust in their own bodies. Her approach is rooted in the understanding that the body holds its own story—one that reveals itself through tissue, breath, and subtle rhythms. Andrea combines skilled orthopedic problem-solving with an intuitive, hands-on style that honors the full complexity of each person’s experience. Her sessions invite clients to feel deeply seen, creating space for physical relief and meaningful healing to unfold.
Andrea holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Springfield College and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. While her clinical foundation was shaped in orthopedics—where she held the APTA Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification for 20 years—Andrea has spent decades expanding her lens to include the body as a whole, interconnected system. She has advanced training in pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Institute, Visceral Mobilization through the Barral Institute, movement-based rehabilitation through STOTT Pilates, and Reiki Level 1 and 2. Her background allows her to address a wide range of issues—from pelvic pain and postpartum recovery to chronic conditions that resist conventional treatment—with equal parts of clinical precision and deep listening.
Andrea’s own experience moving through illness has shaped the compassion and presence she brings into the treatment room. As a cancer survivor, she understands firsthand the vulnerability and strength that healing asks of us. This insight has deepened her commitment to meeting people where they are—with empathy, curiosity, and a belief in the body’s capacity to heal when fully supported.
At the heart of her work is a love for hands-on therapy. Whether working through scar tissue, restoring visceral mobility, or calming a dysregulated nervous system, Andrea uses her hands as both a tool and a guide—reading the body’s response and tailoring each session to what is needed in the moment. She believes that physical therapy can be both technically informed and deeply intuitive, blending structure and flow to support the whole person.
Outside of the clinic, Andrea finds joy in the outdoors, skiing, hiking, and reading near water. She cherishes time with her family and enjoys making music with them and exploring the powerful relationship between voice, breath, and movement. With warmth, depth, and decades of experience, Andrea helps clients reconnect with their bodies, release long-held tension, and move toward lasting wellness from the inside out.

Maggie Atkins
Personal Trainer
She/Her/Hers

Maggie Atkins is a dedicated advocate for holistic health, driven by her transformative medical journey. Her career in health and wellness began in 2020, during a life-changing health battle that required brain surgery. Confronted with debilitating autonomic symptoms, Maggie approached her surgery with grit, treating it as an opportunity to harness the power of movement, nutrition, and psychological support.
Remarkably, she earned her personal trainer certification just weeks before undergoing surgery. Post-surgery, Maggie faced the grueling task of relearning how to walk while managing lingering symptoms. Despite these challenges, her commitment to recovery led her surgeon to note that her progress at one month surpassed that of most patients at six months—a testament to her discipline and holistic approach.
Inspired by her recovery, Maggie pursued a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness, graduating with honors in 2024. Maggie’s resilience, compassion, and expertise make her a powerful advocate for patient-centered care.
As an Emergency Medical Technician and Lieutenant at the Washington Fire Department, she has honed her skills in patient advocacy, communication, and compassionate care. Her work extends beyond immediate care, encompassing community education and engagement, where she builds trust and fosters connections through active listening and empathy.
Fun fact, Maggie’s family owns a maple sugar house and she is our very own sugar dealer often supplying tasty maple popcorn, syrup, candies, and snacks. She loves to spend her time outdoors, particularly with her many animals to include her chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and horse. Interestingly, Maggie’s horse Taco also has his fair share of health issues that have given her a background in equine nutrition, holistically improving Taco’s health as well. In addition to her love of the outdoors Maggie is an athlete. Beginning in elementary school she played many sports and continued as a pitcher in softball through college, traveling to compete nationally.
