Postpartum Pelvic Review

Did you know it takes a full YEAR for your body to recover from the changes of pregnancy and birth? And this period is actually a gift that we only get on a couple of occasions in our life (puberty, post-partum and menopause). It is a critical window to rewire, transform and renew your body.  We can help you understand and work with this crucial period in your and your family's life. Your baby coregulates with your nervous system until three years old: The better you feel, the better your baby feels. Self care is family care.

  • Review your birth experience and physical changes
  • Focus on your body, your physical recovery, your challenges
  • Learn pelvic floor strengthening exercises
  • Prepare to return to running or exercising safely

Consulations can be used at any time throughout pregnancy or post-partum.

*These are educational and informational consultations. We believe that all this information SHOULD be covered under insurance but pregnancy and postpartum are not considered an “injury.” If you do have aches and pains, we are happy to use these consultations to advise the best pathway, which can be dedicated physical therapy addressing certain symptoms.

If you leak, have pain, can’t go to the bathroom or go too much, are pregnant, have had a baby, we want to help your pelvic floor muscles move the way they are designed to move. Your experience and injuries are unique, but it is helpful to start to become aware of this area so that your treatment will be off to a great start.

This is also a great step if you can't start treatment right now!
