Meet the Team
Lisa Lollis
PT, DPT
She/Her/Hers
Dr. Lisa Lollis is an alumna of the University of Vermont where she completed both her
undergraduate and graduate studies. After earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013, she quickly found her passion as a pelvic floor physical therapist. She received advanced training under the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute for bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction of all genders. Lisa lived in North Carolina for five years where she worked within a Female Pelvic Health practice, and was a faculty member of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship program. She was also involved in research studies which assessed the general benefits of exercise on mood and analyzed the impact exercise has on incontinence in geriatric females.
Lisa's treatment philosophy addresses both the mind and body. She believes in empowering patients with knowledge to help them understand anatomical and emotional factors that can cause dysfunction. By combining manual therapy with exercise and self-awareness practice, Lisa guides her patients through their recovery to correct altered movement patterns and promote healthy behavioral changes.
During her free time, Lisa enjoys being active. She recharges by running, hiking and being outdoors. She also likes to read and be entertained by her two cats.
What Patients Say About Lisa
I can't say enough wonderful things about Lisa.
Mid-life, and beyond, can be such a puzzling and frustrating period in a woman’s life. I know it has been for mine. For the past several years, I have been struggling with bladder and hip issues and refuse to get surgery.
My doctor recommended Oceanside Physical Therapy and I am very glad she did. Under Lisa Colombo’s care and guidance, I have been able to practice some of the techniques and exercises which have shown a noticeable improvement in, not only my mobility, but in my overall feeling of well-being. I no longer need to race to a restroom throughout the day (ladies, you know what I’m talking about) nor feel like a dance class will be painful.
Lisa is attentive, professional, respectful and kind. She takes careful notes, answers questions and creates a space that is comforting and honoring of the aging body.
Thank you, Lisa, for your help and guidance.

After my first pregnancy / c-section, I had lost the proper function of my core. It was hard for me to keep up with basic day-to-day activities and I was experiencing horrible back pain. After a few months working with Lisa, I felt so much stronger and was experiencing almost no pain. I love that Oceanside has a holistic approach to treatment and care. Along with getting stronger, reducing pain, and increasing my quality of life, I ended up learning things and making mind/body connections that were totally unexpected. I'm forever grateful for Oceanside!

Oceanside PT changed my life for the better and provided me with the tools to change my life. I was met with kindness and respect from the start. Everybody I interacted with at the practice was invested in the quality of my care and experience. I felt not only heard but valued as a patient and person. Lisa coached me through a personalized, layered approach to my treatment, celebrated the successes with me, spoke to me honestly and with dignity, and supported me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I looked forward to my appointments and reaching the next goals. I now look forward to continuing my relationship with Oceanside PT throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I would highly recommend Oceanside PT and I strongly encourage anybody who could benefit from their services to connect with the practice. I’m so happy that I did!

I came to Lisa just over 6 weeks postpartum, petrified and borderline depressed over a possible prolapse diagnosis. Bowel movements were not normal and I couldn’t fathom having penetrative sex again.
Working with Lisa at Oceanside was an extremely positive experience for me. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and supported from the moment I walked in the door. Lisa was professional, skilled, and very kind. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for pelvic floor physical therapy.
After a rough 3rd trimester with SI pain during my 2nd pregnancy and ultimately a c-section, I knew I wanted professional help in my postpartum recovery. As a physical therapist myself, I knew I needed some pelvic floor and core strengthening but was nervous and overwhelmed after my c-section. Lisa performed the [Healthy Mama Assessment] on me and we decided Trainerize would be the best approach in returning me back to fitness appropriately. The program, along with Lisa's guidance, was a huge help and I am really starting to feel STRONG again and have zero pain! So grateful for Lisa's assessment and this program that also allowed me to do the exercises on my own time!
Lisa has been my therapist for the past several months. I am an "experienced" PT patient–5 back surgeries! The results from Lisa's techniques have led to timely and successful results.

I went to Oceanside upon referral from by OBGYN for pelvic floor issues related to menopause and a prior surgery, and although I was a bit skeptical, I was very pleasantly surprise working with Lisa. I learned so much, and have a long term plan to work through issues which are considerable improved. I ultimately expanded my work with her to my hip and low back issues as well. She was so professional, helpful, kind and supportive. I highly recommend Lisa and Oceanside.

Being a distance extreme runner, typical “return to run” programs after pregnancy didn’t seem to fit me; Lisa listened to what I wanted to accomplish and didn’t try to fit me into a postpartum “one size fits all” bucket...Lisa was able to chat with me through [Trainerize] and designed a training program with videos and instructions for me to follow at my own pace. It was excellent! I was able to recover and train on my own time which of course is key when having a newborn.
I would highly recommend Oceanside and Lisa, to any mom looking to gain strength and confidence after pregnancy. With her detailed care and knowledge, I feel much better equipped to return to running and be the best mom I can be for my son.
My physical therapy sessions with Lisa Colombo were informative and extremely helpful. She was attentive to my needs and concerns, and gave me a new awareness and insight into my pelvic floor. I left each session feeling I had the tools and resources to strengthen my pelvic floor through exercises but also every day activities and movement. I am extremely grateful for the effort she put into helping me understand my body better.

I started working with Lisa when I was pregnant with my son. I didn't know what to expect walking into Oceanside, but from the first appointment, Lisa made me feel like I had come to the right place. Her knowledge and expertise are unmatched, and she made sure I knew this was a safe place to ask questions. She also helped me recover after my delivery, and I've never felt better! I can't thank Lisa and Oceanside enough for making me confident in myself and my body again.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about my experience at Oceanside Physical Therapy. My therapist was Lisa and she has a wonderful personality and was very helpful. She was very thorough and informative about the muscles and pelvic floor and she has a lot of patience. Sometimes it took a while for me to catch on to the exercises and she never rushed me or made me feel bad.
My back is feeling better and I can walk or stand for longer periods of time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs help. I actually looked forward to my appointments!
