Healing Persistent Pain
Understanding the Science of Pain and a 4-D Approach to Healing

with Cristin Zaimes, DPT and Sage Wheeler, MEd
Saturday, October 13
9:30 -11:30 am
$35 per person

In this two-hour workshop, we will review the latest scientific research on our understanding of the brain’s networks, to create a new story of your recovery. The 4-Dimensional Wheel is an innovative tool developed through Dr. Gina Ogden’s years of therapy with trauma survivors that Cristin and Sage have adapted to focus on those who have suffered long enough with pain. We have seen deep transformations within our patients once they begin to tell their story around the 4-D Wheel. After this workshop, you will view pain and your healing differently. It will be a new frontier that will create a healing environment.

Reclaiming Your Energy
Real-Life Steps to Take Back Your Energy and Support Your Health

with Functional Nutritionist Erin Holt
Saturday, October 27
9:30 -11:30 am
$50 per person

In the health and wellness field, we often hear talk about “detox”. Detox is often promoted as a reset, for weight loss, or to improve health. We’re tempted (and encouraged) to try something extreme for rapid results, but this isn’t supportive of the body’s own rhythm and natural detoxification processes.
Drastic detoxes and quick fixes fail to get us the results we’re after, and can even do more harm than good.
We’ve got to GO DEEPER and look not only at what’s going on physiologically within the body, but what’s happening emotionally and energetically as well. This is how we truly detox.
Join us for a 2-hour workshop featuring a discussion with Functional Nutritionist Erin Holt. We will unpack the wildly misunderstood process that is detox, and you will learn evidence-based ways to support it.
Discussion will include:

  • How detoxification actually works in the body and how you can support it everyday
  • Common detox myths and misconceptions
  • How gut health affects overall health – and what you can do about it
  • The problem with low calorie diets when it comes to weight loss AND detoxification
  • The fallacy of self care
  • How you have the power to change your own genes
  • What food has to do with all of it
  • Simple steps you can take TODAY to start feeling better

Restorative Yoga: Help Heal Your Nervous System Incorporating Breath and the Pelvic Floor

Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing form of yoga designed to connect mind and body. This workshop is designed to connect mindfulness and pelvic floor awareness through mobility and attention to the breath, providing deep restoration to the body’s heightened stress state that is so prevalent in our culture. This form of relaxation allows your body to recover from high-intensity activities, and can be healing for daily stress, chronic pain, and even anxiety and depression.

Workshop includes introduction to practice and props, a 50-minute class, Q&A session with Danielle, handouts of exercises and resources to explore continuing a restorative yoga practice in the local community.
